The annual Middelburg VÓLkoren is the largest choir festival in the Southwest of the Netherlands. During a weekend in June, the city centre of Middelburg transforms into a musical playground where hundreds of choirs and ensembles perform.

- Freedom in Repertoire: Each choir and ensemble performs twice and is free to choose its own repertoire. This results in a varied programme with something for everyone, from classical to pop and everything in between.
